Life
is a journey of discovery. For most of us,
life in our youth has depth and strength and a simple purity
that’s almost magical. But as we grow older
the ‘requirements’ and struggles of life tend
to hide the mystery and adventure and as Wordsworth reflects:
“… man sees it die away,
and fade into the light of common day.”
As adults we’re called back to the mystery of life. We’re
usually caught off guard and uncertain as to what it is
or what it means when we hear it the first time. It
might seem childish or irresponsible but as it returns,
and if we allow it, it begins to call to something hidden
deep in our hearts and covered with the clutter of expectation
and indulgence and duty. We’re all subject
to the ‘cover up’ of the mystery of life and
as a result we’re subject to the ‘cover up’ of
our hearts.
The
fact that you have come to this web site says that you’re
responding to something. Some desire that can't
be fully defined. Maybe you’re early in the
journey and you want to be sure you keep life in your work
and relationships. Maybe you’ve walked through
the busyness and duty of the ‘common day’ world
and you want to finish in a strong and meaningful way.
Maybe you’re somewhere in the middle and you want
to get back to the mystery and adventure of life before
it’s too late.
At LifeChart we want to help you. We believe the
journey of discovery needs to include every aspect of who
you are and what you value so you can live in integrity
in relationships and duty in a way that keeps the mystery
and adventure of life alive. |
